Life is very unpredictable, can we agree?  Sometimes what might look very easy can turn out to be something very challenging or difficult. Other times what might look like a done deal, never actually pans out at all.  Or, we might even have one of the best experiences of our entire life only for it to be capsized by a season of brokenness.  I want you to picture your life from birth to present as one huge canvas.  What you see on your canvas represents your experiences, situations, relationships, desires, jobs, etc..  The question we want to be able to answer at the end of this series is this, "How much painting is on my canvas that doesn't belong to me, but belongs to God?"  If we can look at our canvas of life and see more of the brush strokes of God, than we do our own then we are on the right track!
