The "Cadre" Leadership Family

SCROLL DOWN

The "Cadre" Leadership Family

A cadre is a group of trained or qualified personnel capable of forming, training, or leading an expanded organization, as a religious or political faction, or a skilled work force.

Using that same logic, LifeStone Cadre was created. LSC Cadre is a nucleolus of pastors, directors and team leaders called to equip others to fulfill God's dream at LifeStone Church. They are a group of leaders who are unified through relationship, vision and the Spirit of God.

Worship Pastor, Josiah Schweinberg Josiah was born and raised in Pittsburgh. He married his high school girlfriend, Heather and they have 3 boys and counting! The presence of God brought him to Lifestone, it is a presence that he feels every time he worships with the Lifestone family. Of course, he loves writing music and playing guitar, but he also enjoys photography and video editing. He tries to make the way he worships a part of everything that he does, which is a big motivation for the creation of #ijustwanttoworship. He encourages every believer to seek after God in everything they do and do missions if they get the chance. Josiah’s Favorite Verse: John 3:30 and Psalms 51:16

Generations Pastor, Ryan Spurlock Ryan was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. He attended Central Bible College where he met his wife, Brianne. They pastored together in Washington and Montana before returning to Pittsburgh. Together they have three children, and are blessed to also foster a 1-year old as well. Ryan says that whole fostering process has really wrecked his heart for the innocent while teaching him not to be prejudice against those who sin. Outside of Lifestone, Ryan loves all things DIY along with road trips, vacations and cheese. For any new believer, Ryan says to fall in love with God’s word, “it is the bread to your soul and the light to guide you”. Ryan’s Favorite Verse: John 6

Missions Pastor, Tiffany Freeman Tiffany grew up in Phoenix with her family before coming to Pittsburgh for an internship. After a few summers of interning, she met Pastor Jack and played a role in planning Lifestone. Tiffany is married to Darin and together they have two children whom thy adopted internationally. Meeting and bringing their children home is one time that she felt God was truly using her. In relation to her title, Tiffany’s biggest passion is seeing the Book of Acts lived out in the church today—living to know Jesus and making him known to others, specifically the unreached and lost. Tiffany believes that before you can fall in love with any element of Christianity, you must fall in love with Jesus. Tiffany’s Favorite Verse: Ephesians 1:3-6 (for now at least!)

Creative Director, Tim Garner Tim comes from San Antonio, Texas, he made the move to Pittsburgh for his job. He’s married to Kasie and they have three wonderful kids together. They all enjoy camping or going to the beach together. He loves the genuine church family culture at Lifestone. For him, this is what sets Lifestone apart from every other church. Something that has helped him in his own journey with God is reading the Bible all the way through (a few times), he recommends that any new believer does the same. Tim’s Favorite Verse: John 11:35

She says that they looked for months and months for a church home, but nothing fit. They know now it’s because Lifestone didn’t begin until June of that year. They attended LSC first service ever and have been hooked since! Young Adults Pastor, Max Keisler Max lived outside of Pittsburgh his entire life until attending Duquesne University, then he eventually moved to the heart of the city. He was invited by a friend to LifeStone when they were still meeting in the Serbian Club. He loved the worship and could really see the heart with which people were serving; he knew he was right where God wanted him to be.  His passions are seeing young adults get to know God and grow through that potential. He thinks it’s important that every believer remembers that no Christian is perfect, we all need God. So, dive into the word and learn about who God is and the plans he has for you. Max’s Favorite Verse: James 2:17
